-Bachelor of Art 1939 (French) : Prize Awarded Le Lyceum societe des femmes de France à New York – Jeanne d’Arc by Gabriel Hanotaux.
-Master of Art 1941 (Psychology).
Born in Baltimor she was a graduate of Lower Merion Hight School and the University of Pennsylvania.
She was a benefit secretary in the personnel departement of Temple University for 12 years until her retirement in 1977.
Prior to Temple, she had served in various positions with various industries.
Miss Price was a member of the Narberth Presbyterian Church.
When a student she was president of student government at the University of Pennsylvania.
She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Phi Omega, past president of both National and Intrnational personnel Associations, a member of the Benjamin Rush Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a past president of Deltaware County Camera Club.
After her retirement, Miss Price was honored by the Chapel of the Four Chaplains at Temple University.
Doris Elmer Price is in the Who’s Who of American Women.
